GT Systems – Tanks
GT Systems’ Tanks perform as reservoirs that hold solution for the bare roots on the tray above. Whatever the roots don’t take up flows down the slope and back into the tank.
GT Systems
Lower your media use and improve your yields
How it works
Plants sit on the GT’s sloping tray and nutrient solution is constantly pumped from the tank over the bare roots on the tray above.
The solution is continuously oxygenated with an air tube. The roots have unrestricted access to nutrients and oxygen – maximising nutrient uptake and growth. NFT doesn’t require media. Well-rooted plants are added to the GT without the need for media.
There’s no going back from a GT – the results are incredible.
Benefits of the system
Proven results – up to 3x greater yield than conventional growing methods.
Healthier plants – plants are never underfed or over-watered and there is no build-up of salts in the root zone.
Get more out of a small space – GT are just 20cm tall.
Very little media used – less chance of disease and less waste material to dispose of.
Growers Tips
Check roots first
Ensure plants are root bound before they go into the system. An abundance of white roots should be visible on the outside of the starter media.
One plant per square foot
This is a rule of thumb and can be increased or decreased depending on plant variety.
Run 24/7
Pump runs constantly, there’s no need for a segmental timer or feeding schedule.
Give the roots more oxygen
Completely remove plastic wrapping from Stonewool cubes or remove pots if using soil or coco. This allows the roots to access more oxygen.
