Bring mains-powered equipment into the UIS ecosystem

The AC Infinity UK UIS Control Plug allows compatible mains-powered equipment without a native UIS connection to become part of an automated AC Infinity grow room.

The Control Plug connects to a 69 PRO, 69 PRO+ or AI+ controller and switches mains power to the equipment plugged into its UK outlet.

This allows conventional on/off equipment to respond to programming from the controller and AC Infinity app.

Automate non-UIS equipment

The Control Plug can be used with compatible equipment including:

• Heaters
• Humidifiers
• Dehumidifiers
• Circulation fans
• Ventilation equipment
• Grow lights
• Heat mats
• Other suitable mains-powered grow room equipment

The connected equipment must automatically start operating when mains power is supplied. Equipment that requires a button to be pressed manually after power is restored cannot be automated correctly using the Control Plug.

AC Infinity app control

Because the Control Plug operates through the AC Infinity controller, connected equipment can benefit from app-based programming and remote management.

Growers can create automated programmes rather than manually switching equipment on and off, allowing conventional mains-powered products to work alongside the wider grow room control strategy.

3,000 W maximum load

The UK UIS Control Plug is rated to a maximum load of 3,000 W and 13 A.

It is important to consider start-up current as well as normal running power when selecting equipment.

Some electrical equipment can draw considerably more power when starting than during normal operation. Compressors and certain electric heaters are particular examples, so the electrical requirements of the connected product should always be checked before use.
