Origin Drip Irrigation Systems: The best results from a pot!
Origin Drip Irrigation Systems offer the same flexibility as growing pots, with the accurate feeding and increased yield of active hydro.
How it Works?
Pots are placed on the Origin Drip Irrigation Systems tray, above the nutrient solution tank. Plants and drippers are placed in the pots with the chosen growing medium – clay, coco, soil or rockwool.
Set the irrigation frequency with a timer, triggering the drippers to automatically feed your plants.
The nutrient solution works its way through the medium and over the roots of your plants, draining into the catchment tank and drawing oxygen into the root zone.
The automatic watering allows the plants to take up the perfect ratio of water and nutrient as they are fed little and often. This enhances the plant’s oxygen intake and results in healthier plants that produce larger yields.
Why Choose?
Bigger yields – your plants take up more water and nutrients than hand watering pots as they are fed little and often.
More choice – you can grow in soil, coco, clay or rockwool; there is an Origin dripper for every medium. Grow 4, 8, 9, 10, 16 or 20 plants
Less hassle – the Origin is low maintenance. Manage one nutrient solution tank for up to 20 plants and top up every couple of days – far easier than hand watering.
Flexibility – pots in an Origin are independent of one another; your plants can be moved around under lights or replaced. Use a timer to increase the number of feeds to suit the life stage of your plants.
Reliability – the Origin has a reliable anti-leak design. The pots fit snugly into perfectly sized ‘slots’ in the tray, which in turn sits over a reservoir, greatly reducing the chance of leaks in your grow room.
Growers Tips
Use a de-scaler.
Using a cleaning product like Plant Magic Pure Clean or House & Garden Drip Clean helps to prevent dripper blockage when used from Day 1.
Use the correct dripper
Clay pebbles = Blue flood drippers. 40L/hour
Soil/Coco/Mixed Media/Rockwool = Black arrow drippers. 2L/hour
Let the system do the mixing
After a nutrient change open the tap on the system and manually switch the pump on for a couple of minutes. This will mix the solution ensuring everything is evenly distributed.
