Each pot is made from a woven fabric which, despite its thickness and durability, allows for rootzone oxygenation and air pruning. The fabric allows the root tips to grow through and naturally traps them to prevent circling and girdling. This leads to air pruning, which encourages new roots to develop and creates a dense, healthy network. As a breathable material, the pot also allows water to pass through, ensuring that the rootzone does not become oversaturated. Cloth Pots also protect the rootzone from temperature fluctuations between the summer and winter months.

SmartGro Cloth Pots have two handles, aiding the transport of plants as required. The flexible fabric also allows for easy, compact storage when the pots are not in use. These pots are designed to be an extremely cost-effective growing container.
