X-Stream Aeroponic Propagator: Cuttings ready to transplant in as little as 10 days!
The unique environment in an X-Stream Aeroponic Propagator results in incredible root development.
How it Works?
Cuttings are placed in mesh pots using neoprene clone collars. The pots are then suspended inside a misting chamber and are constantly sprayed with a nutrient solution.
This constant supply of nutrient, water, and oxygen, combined with the lack of restrictive growing medium, encourages roots to develop rapidly as they ‘push out’ to access the solution.
Heat and humidity are fully controllable by gradually opening the large butterfly vents in the X-Stream Aero propagator lid.
Why Choose?
The fastest root development possible – get your crop started earlier.
Reduced risk of transplant shock – cuttings will have stronger, thicker roots and the lack of growing medium means less risk of pests and disease in your grow area.
Adjustable – control heat and humidity levels via the vented lid to suit your specific growing environment.
Practical – check progress without disturbing your plants, easy access to pump and nutrient tank.
Flexible – transplant to any growing medium or growing system.
Growers Tips
Leave on 24/7
When cuttings go into the system, fill the tank with water and leave the pump on 24/7.
Open the vents gradually
When roots begin to show open the vents slightly, increase the opening every day and then remove the lid completely to harden off for a couple of days before transplanting on.
Check roots before hardening off
They’re ready to plant into your chosen media when roots begin to poke through the mesh pot. At this stage it’s important to move cuttings to an alternative propagator for hardening off before moving to a system. Our X-Stream Heat or Vitopod are ideal.
Keep your water at an optimum temperature
Propagation water should be between 22°C–26°C. We recommend Newa for an optional water heater.
