Global Air Supplies Launch

Global Air Supplies is the UK’s first wholesaler specialising in ventilation products for the horticultural market.

The director Ian Collins says “I have worked for 20 years in the horticultural market owning a large wholesaler, Direct Garden Supplies, for many years and retail stores Urban Garden and Alternative Garden Supplies in the Yorkshire area.  I saw many ventilation products coming to the market with ridiculous claims.  The whole area of ventilation in horticulture has no protection from cheap Chinese fans and filters claiming ridiculous high air flows.  Each month new fans and carbon filters were being released into the market with higher maximum air flows, with no proof or evidence that backed up their claims.

Systemair wanted a partner who had experience in the horticultural ventilation market and knowledge of the industry.  Ian said “Systemair had released the Revolution fans but could not get them into our market. These fans are the most powerful duct fans per watt in the world.  But it’s a difficult message to get across to the end user, the energy saving alone makes them pay for themselves in a short period, the reliability is second to none, but where they really blow the competition away is the way they handle pressure. Systemair spent millions designing, testing and developing this product. It’s in a different league to any duct fan available today.”
