AC Infinity CO2 & Light Sensor – For use with AI+ Controller
Automated CO2 management
The AC Infinity CO2 & Light Sensor is designed specifically for the Controller AI+, allowing carbon dioxide concentration to become part of the grow room’s automated environmental strategy.
The sensor monitors CO2 concentration while also identifying whether the grow lights are on or off.
The light element is used to help the controller understand when CO2 enrichment should take place rather than to analyse grow light intensity.
Automate CO2 dosing
When suitable CO2 dosing equipment is connected to the AI+ Controller, growers can select a target CO2 concentration.
If the reading falls below the selected value, the controller can activate connected dosing equipment to increase CO2 concentration.
The light sensor allows this process to be linked to the lights-on period, helping ensure CO2 enrichment is applied when required.
Coordinate ventilation and CO2
Running extraction at full output while introducing CO2 can quickly remove enriched air from the grow room.
The AI+ Controller can coordinate ventilation with CO2 dosing. Depending on the programme created by the grower, the system can:
- Increase the temperature threshold before extraction responds
- Reduce extraction fan speed during CO2 dosing
- Temporarily stop extraction while CO2 is introduced
- Return ventilation to normal operation afterwards
This gives growers greater control over CO2 concentration and makes enrichment more practical in environments that are not completely sealed.
Monitoring and notifications
CO2 readings can be monitored through the AC Infinity app, providing growers with visibility of changing concentrations.
Notifications can also be configured to alert the grower when CO2 moves outside selected parameters.

Important information
The light sensor is used to identify whether the grow lights are on or off. It should not be positioned as a PAR or grow light performance measurement tool.
