AC Infinity Hydro Sensor – For use with AI+ Controller
Continuous hydroponic solution monitoring
The AC Infinity Hydro Sensor is designed specifically for use with the Controller AI+, adding continuous nutrient solution monitoring to the AI+ environmental control system.
The sensor measures three key parameters:
- pH
- EC
- Nutrient solution temperature
This gives hydroponic growers greater visibility of what is happening within their nutrient solution without relying solely on individual manual readings.
Monitor pH
pH affects the availability of nutrients within the solution and is therefore an important measurement in hydroponic cultivation.
The Hydro Sensor continuously monitors pH, allowing growers to view the current reading through the AC Infinity app and follow how it changes over time.
Alerts can be configured to notify the grower if pH moves outside the selected range, providing an early indication that the nutrient solution requires attention.
Monitor EC
Electrical conductivity, or EC, provides an indication of the concentration of dissolved salts within the nutrient solution.
Monitoring EC helps growers understand how the strength of the nutrient solution is changing over time.
The Hydro Sensor records EC continuously, allowing growers to view current and historical readings and receive notifications when EC moves outside their chosen parameters.
Monitor nutrient solution temperature
The Hydro Sensor also measures the temperature of the nutrient solution.
This brings nutrient solution temperature into the same monitoring system as pH and EC, allowing growers to follow changes through the AC Infinity app and configure alerts when readings move outside their selected range.
App monitoring and data logging
Connecting the Hydro Sensor to the Controller AI+ allows its readings to be viewed and recorded through the AC Infinity app.
